Doctors

Dr Patricia McCloskey (f)
MB BCh MRCGP DRCOG DMH DFP DCH Qualified: Queens University Belfast, 1992. Dr McCloskey completed her pre-registration year in Ards hospital and subsequently trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Medicine and Psychiatry at the same hospital. She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and holds diplomas in Mental Health, Child Health, Family Planning and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Dr Stuart Kelly (m)

Dr Kelly joined the Practice  as a Partner on 1st Jan'14, although he has been working in the Practice for the past 4years. 

Dr Kelly worked in both the Ulster and Daisy Hill Hospitals in

a variety of areas including General Medicine, General Surgery,

Accident and Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics and Psychiatry.

He completed his training as a General Practitioner registrar in

The Old Schoolhouse Medical Centre.

 

He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and

holds a Diploma in Mental Health.

Dr Jayne Draffin (f)

 

BSc, PhD, MBChB, RCGP

 

Having completed a BSc Biochemistry (2001), and PhD in Molecular Oncology (2004) at Queens University Belfast, Dr Draffin qualified from Aberdeen University in 2008. After which, Dr Draffin worked mainly in the Royal Victoria Hospital and Belfast City hospital, Belfast, and Daisy Hospital, Newry, in a variety of areas including Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Respiratory, Oncology, Haematology, Accident and Emergency, and Paediatrics. 

Dr Draffin completed her GP training with The Old School House Medical Centre in 2015, and is now a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. To date, she has a specialist interest in minor surgery and family planning. 

Dr Conor Doyle (m)

Dr Doyle joined the practice as a salaried GP in February 2019 but has been working in the practice since August 2017. He completed his training as a General Practice Registrar here in The Old School House Medical Centre. His undergraduate degree was completed in Queen’s University Belfast.


He has worked in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Daisy Hill Hospital and in Craigavon Area Hospital, in a variety of specialities, including; General Medicine, General Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry and Paediatrics.


He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners


He has an interest in Minor Surgery and has a certificate in Palliative Care Medicine.

Registrars

The practice is now registered for training General Practitioners. A Registrar GP will be appointed to the practice from time to time and will work in the surgery for a one year period. The Reistrar is a fully qualified doctor who is finalising his/her training before becoming a GP.
